Athletistic/Hockey. The NHL website has named Sergei Bobrovsky (Florida Panthers), Petr Kochetkov (Carolina Hurricanes) and Igor Shesterkin (New York Rangers) among the candidates for the Vezina Trophy – the award given to the best goaltender of the regular season following the 2024/25 season.
The list also includes Thatcher Demko (Vancouver Canucks), Connor Hellebuyck (Winnipeg Jets), Juuse Saros (Nashville Predators) and Jeremy Swayman (Boston Bruins).
Note that Bobrovsky has already won the Vezina Trophy in 2013 and 2017, and last season he took 3rd place in the voting. Shesterkin won this award in the 2021/22 season.
