Athletistic / Hockey. SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg summed up the results of the KHL regular season match against Metallurg. The game, held in Magnitogorsk, ended in a victory for the hosts with a score of 5:4 (OT).

“I want to thank the SKA team for their character. It’s not an easy match for us, I thank the opponent, a very strong team, champions.

The game was not easy for us, we had to get through it, but I think everyone enjoyed the game, we need this kind of hockey. Yes, we have something to work on. We have to improve many details.

I would like to thank our young boys – Timur Kol, Ivan Demidov. They are the future of our hockey, they played well against the champion and held their ground.

“It was the first match of our fledgling team; the opponent had already played one match in the season. It is clear that we lacked playing tone,” Rotenberg said at a press conference.
