In the preliminary vote, in which 180 candidates nominated according to the party list took part, 43-year-old Danis Zaripov took 44th place, receiving the support of 27,842 voters.
It is worth noting that Zaripov ended his sports career at the end of the 2022/2023 season. The only five-time winner of the Gagarin Cup (2009, 2010, 2018 with the Ak Bars club, 2014 and 2016 with the Metallurg club), he is also a three-time world champion (2008, 2009, 2014) and owner of silver and bronze medals at the world championships.
