Athletistic / Hockey. CSKA Moscow forward Ruslan Iskhakov spoke about his adaptation to playing in the Kontinental Hockey League.
“A lot of goals, we made the fans happy – we had a good away win against Spartak, it was a difficult game, I don’t think we showed our 100 percent performance that night. And in the next two home games we played the right way. We have a lot of good strikers who can score and execute. Most of them are working like clockwork so far. I hope it continues.
The adaptation process has not yet taken place. In every game I learn something new and I feel more comfortable in the KHL. The size of the venue and the timing bother me a little. In the KHL there is a little more time, you can take your time and not fuss. And in North America you have very little time to play with the puck,” Iskhakov was quoted as saying by RB Sport.
The day before, on September 10, CSKA defeated Sibir Novosibirsk (8:2) in the home game of the KHL regular season. In this game, Ruslan Iskhakov scored 2 (1+1) points thanks to the goal+assist system. In three games in the KHL, the 24-year-old Russian has 3 (2+1) assists.
