Athletistic / Hockey. Dynamo Moscow’s general director has spoken about the breakdown of negotiations with striker Alexander Radulov. According to the official, the Blues failed to agree on the financial terms of the 38-year-old Russian’s contract.
“The working process continued throughout the off-season. We talked not only with Radulov or Slepyshev, but also with a large number of players. We are glad that Alexander signed a good contract with Lokomotiv. God grant that Radulov benefits from it. The Yaroslavl team and our newcomers will benefit us.
In the story with Radulov, there is no fault of either the club or the player. The club always wants good players and cheaper players, and the hockey player wants a bigger contract. Radulov is a good hockey player, he will benefit any team. He did not join Dynamo for purely hockey reasons – nothing more,” Sushko was quoted as saying by Match TV.
Alexander Radulov left Ak Bars in the offseason and signed a one-year contract with Lokomotiv. A few days ago, he said that during the offseason he first talked with Dynamo Moscow, but the parties failed to reach an agreement. In the 2023/2024 season, in 58 games, he scored 40 (16+24) points in the KHL regular season and also had 4 (1+3) assists in the Gagarin Cup.
