Magnitogorsk “Metallurgist” will receive the largest amount of payments in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) based on the results of the 2023/24 season, the league’s press service reports.
In total, more than a billion rubles were distributed among the clubs at the end of last season, which is a record total amount in ten years. The basis for the formation of payments is income from the sale of television and betting rights, gambling fees and funds allocated by the league.
Metallurg will receive the largest amount of payments based on the results of the 2023/2024 season – more than 100 million rubles.

From the 2023/2024 season, the distribution of funds to clubs is as follows:
30% of the total payment amount is distributed proportionally between the clubs based on the assessment of the club’s sporting achievements;
70% – according to the clubs’ rating according to ten indicators (sports achievements; cost of a sports result; financing; untimely payment of hockey players; compliance with technical regulations; attendance and occupancy of arenas; spectator services; TV index; income from the implementation of licensing and ticket programs, nutrition work with the media).
