But as soon as I heard about Vityaz’s interest, we decided everything with the club in one conversation – literally in two minutes. Without thinking twice, I accepted their offer. At the same time, I feel sorry for the guys who found themselves in this situation. I wish them more strength, because it is not so simple.
— What criterion most influenced your choice?
— As I said above, I really miss hockey. It’s to play hockey, not to work at hockey. I wanted to enjoy it and love it. “I had some tough times,” Chekhovich told the Championship.
