Athletistic / Hockey. Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby spoke about Washington Capitals leader Alexander Ovechkin’s pursuit of Wayne Gretzky’s NHL regular-season goal scoring record. The 38-year-old Russian is now the second-leading sniper in NHL history.
“It’s great to play with Ovechkin in the same division, to have the history that we’ve had over the years, to compete at the same time as him and to see him tackle something that was probably thought to be impossible. That’s what Ovechkin does, unbelievably. I’m very grateful to be a part of that history,” Crosby told Daily Faceoff.
