Attack Matvey Mishkov scored a goal in his first game for the National Hockey League (NHL) team “Philadelphia”.
The Russian scored in the rookie match between the Flyers and the New York Rangers. The main time of the meeting ended with the score 3:3. In the shootout, the Rangers hockey players were more accurate – 1:0.
Michkov, who turns 20 in December, signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Philadelphia in July. The Flyers selected the Russian seventh overall in the 2023 NHL Draft.
