As reported, the 22-year-old’s average salary per season will be $8.075 million, with the total contract amount being $64.6 million.
Last season, the Swedish forward appeared in all 82 regular-season games, becoming the team’s top scorer (72 points) and second in goals (31) and assists (41). In three seasons in Detroit, Raymond scored 174 points (71 goals, 103 assists) in 238 games.
The new NHL season begins on October 4.
