Vegas Golden Knights fielded a Russian attacker Grigory Denisenko for the waiver draft, reports the press service of the National Hockey League (NHL) club.
It is worth noting that this decision was made with the aim of transferring the 24-year-old Russian to the farm club Henderson Silver Knights, which plays in the AHL.
Denisenko was selected by the Florida Panthers in the first round of the 2018 NHL Draft, 15th overall. In total, he played 32 games in the NHL and scored 7 (0+7) points with a utility indicator of “-7”.
The new NHL season begins on October 4.
