The newly formed Odessa club won its first trophy in history
Odessa Storm won a crushing victory over the Kyiv Trident (6:0) and became the owner Ukrainian Cup 2024 hockey.
In the first period, only one goal was scored – it was scored by Dmitry Kobylnik. In the second 20 minutes, Storm scored four more times on the goal of the Kyiv club – Nikita Sidorenko scored a double, and Ivan Omelchuk and Ilya Kryklya also scored a puck.
In the final, third period, Dmitry Kobylnik scored a double and set the final score on the scoreboard.
Let us remind you that on the way to the final, Storm defeated the main favorites of the Ukrainian Cup – in the 1/4 finals, Odessa beat Kiev Sokol (4:1), and in the 1/2 finals they were stronger than Kremenchug (3:2).
Odessa Storm was formed in 2024, the club was one of the first to register for the 2024/25 Favbet hockey league. The Ukrainian Cup 2024 is the first trophy in the history of Odessa residents.
