Canadian defender Alex Grant signed a contract with Barys, the KHL press service reported.
The deal with the 35-year-old hockey player was concluded until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Last season, Grant missed most of the season due to health problems, played 8 games for Barys and scored 2 (1+1) points. After the end of the last championship, the defender had the status of an unrestricted free agent. Previously, the Canadian defended the colors of Jokerit and SKA.
Barys has scored five points in 12 matches and ranks last in the Eastern Conference standings.
