Russian Ice Hockey Federation (FHR) on its to place expressed condolences on the death of a 14-year-old SKA system hockey player who died after a puck struck his heart.
“The Russian Hockey Federation mourns this loss and expresses its deepest condolences to the parents, friends and relatives of the boy,” the FHR said in a statement.
According to initial information, on August 11, during a training session, the puck hit the player in the chest in the heart area. After providing first aid, the child was taken to hospital, but it was not possible to save his life.
