St. Petersburg forward SKA Evgenia Kuznetsova shown in a video announcement for the upcoming National Hockey League (NHL) season.
The one-minute video, posted on the league’s social media channels, features highlights of the matches. At the end of the video, there is a moment where Kuznetsov celebrates a goal with Carolina.
The video also includes episodes with the participation of Florida goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, Washington captain Alexander Ovechkin and other notable NHL Russians – Kirill Kaprizov, Artemy Panarin and Andrei Vasilevsky.
Kuznetsov, 32, signed a contract with SKA during the offseason after leaving Carolina. For SKA, the striker played nine matches and scored 5 points (1 goal and 4 assists). He also played in the NHL for Washington, with whom he won the Stanley Cup in 2018.
The new NHL season began on October 4 with two games scheduled in Prague between New Jersey and Buffalo.
