NHL Club”Washington » signed a contract with the Czech striker Jakub Vrana PuckPedia reports.
The deal with the 28-year-old forward is for one year and the salary will be $775,000.
Vrana played for the Capitals from 2016 to 2021 and won the 2018 Stanley Cup with the team. Last season, the forward played 21 matches for Saint-Louis and scored 6 (2+4) points.
In 2022, a hockey player, then playing for Detroit, completed the NHL Player Assistance Program, which helps hockey players deal with addictions or psychological issues.
The new NHL season began on October 4. Washington will play New Jersey on October 12.
