Rangers goalie Shesterkin: “The team did a great job in the Pittsburgh game and I tried to play my game”

Russian goalkeeper New York Rangers Igor Shesterkin said the team did a serious job on defense in the NHL regular season opener against Pittsburgh Penguins .

The meeting in Pittsburgh ended with a victory for the guests with a score of 6:0. Shesterkin stopped 29 shots and became the second star of the game. For the 28-year-old Russian, this is the 16th shutout of his NHL career.
