Tampa coach Cooper opened up about team’s bad mood amid Hurricane Milton in Florida

Earlier, the NHL announced the postponement of the regular season game between Carolina and the Tampa Bay Lightning to a later date due to restoration work after the natural disaster.

“Now we are all thinking about our homes and our families. Almost all of our team members don’t have electricity at home yet. And what will everything look like when we return in a few days? We are all very worried. This is our home, and it will be radically different from what it was when we left,” Cooper was quoted as saying by the NHL press service.

According to the latest data, more than 3.4 million people in Florida are without power. Earlier Thursday, Hurricane Milton was reported to be moving away from the East Coast, but strong wind gusts and heavy rain were still present in some locations.
