Sokol will hold matches of the second round of the Continental Cup on October 18-20 in Italian Ritten
Kyiv Falcon announced the loan of two Odessa players Storm – defender Evgeniy Ratushny and forward Nikita Sidorenko. It is reported that the loan includes participation in upcoming matches Continental Cup.
Ratushny is a graduate of Vinnitsa hockey and captain of the Storm. In the Ukrainian championships, starting in 2017, he played 191 matches for Galician Lions and Kherson Dnepr, scoring 97 (16+81) points. He has been playing for the Ukrainian national team since 2021, played 38 matches, scored 3 goals, and gave 5 assists.
Sidorenko is a graduate of Donetsk hockey. In the Ukrainian Championship as part of Kherson Dnepr in 2023-2024, he played 54 matches and scored 88 (47+41) points. Nikita is the top scorer and striker of the 2024 World Youth Championship in division 1B. He is also the top scorer of the 2023/24 Ukrainian regular season. Sidorenko made his debut for the national team of Ukraine this year – he has 2 matches and 1 assist.
Let us remind you that at the end of September Ratushny and Sidorenko as part of Storm became the winners of the 2024 Ukrainian Cup. For the Odessa club, which was formed only this year, this trophy was the first in history.
Sokol will play the second round matches of the Continental Cup on October 18-20 in Ritten, Italy. The rivals will be the local Ritten, the Slovenian Jesenice and the Croatian Sisak. All Sokol’s opponents play in the united Alpine League.
