Forward Ukrainian national team in hockey Andrey Deniskin switched to Polish Energy.
The duration of the agreement between the parties was not disclosed. Deniskin will wear number 91 for the new club.
Andrei’s last team was the Polish Podgar, for which the forward played only five matches in the regular season. The forward has two goals scored and two assists. Also in Poland, the player previously played for Uni.
Deniskin played in the Ukrainian championship for five seasons – two of which were as part of Donbass, and three more as part of Kremenchug.
As a member of the Ukrainian national team, in August Deniskin competed in the qualifications for the 2026 Winter Olympics, where Dmitry Khristich’s team lost in turn to France, Slovenia and Latvia.
Energy plays in the Polish Extraliga, in the standings of which it is in 7th position.
