Head Coach “Kunlun Red Star” canadian Ireland explained why he accepted an offer from the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
Island’s appointment to the Chinese club was announced in July. The 56-year-old has experience in the AHL, European leagues and the Italian national team.
