Vancouver hockey player who was diagnosed with testicular cancer has returned to training

Vancouver onward Dakota Joshua returned to training with the main team, reports the press service of the NHL club.

In September, Joshua revealed that he had been diagnosed with testicular cancer over the summer. The 28-year-old had surgery and missed the start of the season.

– I feel better every day. Obviously, the road to getting back on track has been difficult, but everything is going well. And I’m just happy to be back and working with the guys again,” Joshua said.

In June, the player extended his contract with the Canucks for four years. Last season, he set a personal NHL scoring record with 32 points (18 goals, 14 assists) in 63 regular season games.
