Defender of SKA St. Petersburg Anthony DeAngelo admitted that he could join another club in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The American player joined SKA in September, signing a one-year contract with the St. Petersburg club.
— Is it true that you could sign a contract with another KHL club?
– Yes. But I decided not to do that.
— What made you choose SKA?
— I decided that SKA would be the best place for me. Good players. A big city with its own way of life. The opportunity to win,” DeAngelo said as quoted by “Championship.”
This season of the FONBET KHL Championship, 29-year-old De Angelo played 14 matches for SKA and scored 19 (3+16) points.
