Ottawa Russian defenseman Artem Zub held his first practice with the team after the injury, said Senators head coach Travis Green.
The Russian hockey player missed eight matches due to a concussion. He could return to the ice during the NHL regular season game against Buffalo on Tuesday.
“The tooth held up throughout the training session and that’s a good sign.” I haven’t talked to the coaches after class yet. Let’s see what happens,” Green told the NHL website.
This season, Zub, 29, has played three matches.
