Colorado captain Landeskog, who missed more than two years due to injuries, held on-ice training

Swedish striker and captainColorado » Gabriel Landeskog who had not played in more than two years, completed an individual training session on the ice with full equipment.

A video of the lesson was posted on social media by journalist Jesse Montano, who covers events around the Avalanche. Landeskog practiced skating and shooting on goal at close range.

The last time the Swede took the ice in an official game was in June 2022, during Colorado’s victory in the Stanley Cup final series against Tampa.

Landeskog then missed two full seasons with a knee injury and a cartilage graft. Many experts noted that after such injuries and a long absence, a hockey player risks ending his career.
