Michkov’s closest pursuer in terms of goals, Caroline forward Jackson Blake, has five goals in 19 matches. Dallas forward Logan Stankoven has the second-highest scoring record among rookies: 15 (4+11) points in 18 games.
Michkov, Stankoven and San Jose forward McLean Celebrini are on the list of contenders for the Calder Trophy, the award given to the best rookie of the season.
