In overtime, Russian partner Sean Walker collided with the goaltender, knocking Kochetkov to the ice. He left the field, accompanied by a doctor, and never returned to the field.

This season, Kochetkov, 25, has played in 13 matches, conceding an average of 2.42 goals per game and reflecting 90.4% of shots. He has 10 victories.
