Dynamo Moscow said it has no plans to trade Rashevsky to another club

Sports director and general director of Dynamo Moscow Alexey Sopin said the club has no plans to seek a trade for the striker Dmitry Rashevsky .

This season, the 24-year-old forward played 26 matches in the FONBET KHL championship and scored 10 (5+5) points with a utility indicator of “+4”.

— During the Ural-Siberian tour, Dmitry Rashevsky, for the first time in his adult career, was not included in the Dynamo team for three matches in a row. We are not used to seeing such an image. Was this a message to the player?

— The coaching staff talks to him constantly. It wasn’t a message, but simply drawing his attention to the moments he had to accomplish on the ice. First of all, we talk about playing defensively. As you remember, we tried a combination in which he played with Mikheev and Comtois. This is our in-house kitchen, but there have been some complaints and the question arose: who needs to be changed here.

Due to the situations with O’Dell and Slepyshev, our second affair, which we were initially counting on this summer, actually collapsed. The coaches thought and thought and finally decided to try a combination in which Shvets-Rogovoy replaced Rashevsky. It wasn’t intended to be any sort of prolonged action. But they played well and the team won. We played well again and won again. And that’s how Dima lost his place in the lineup. This is a continuation of the same conversation about goaltending. One came out and played well, the other prepared and waited.

— That is, there is no preparation for the exchange, which immediately began to worry the fans?

– No. It’s difficult to find a hockey player who scores 30 goals per season,” Sopin was quoted as saying by “Championship”.
