Head coach “Minnesota » John Hines praised the team’s Russian striker Kirill Kaprizov for the NHL regular season game against Buffalo.
The meeting in Buffalo ended with a victory for the Wild with a score of 1:0. Kaprizov scored the only goal.
— Kaprizov is obviously a very important player for us. It was a great match and one goal was enough. Kirill did a good job. He scores points in the right way, he is competitive. I think Kaprizov really understands how to play in games like this, when you attack, but the pucks don’t come easy. His defensive game is also at a high level,” Hines is quoted on the NHL website.
Kaprizov is 27 years old and has 35 points (14 goals and 21 assists) in 21 games this season.
