As part of the next stage of preparation for the 2025 World Cup, the blue-yellows will play two sparring matches with the Polish national team
Coaching staff Ukrainian national hockey team announced the squad for the training camp, which will be held in December in Sanok, Poland.
The camp will be the next stage in the preparation of Dmitry Khristich’s team for the 2025 World Championship in division 1A. Within its framework, two control matches with the Polish national team are planned.
22 hockey players (2 goalkeepers, 7 defenders, 13 forwards) received a call-up to the Ukrainian national team. Five more players are on the reserve list.

Let us remind you that in the spring of this year the Ukrainian national team triumphed with five victories out of five possible and an astonishing goal difference of 31:2 at the 2024 World Cup in Division IB. Each of the matches at this World Cup was won by our team with a large score.
In the spring of 2025, Division 1A will be played by: Great Britain, Poland, Italy, Romania, Japan and Ukraine. Ukraine will be represented in Division IA for the sixth time in history. The last time the blue-yellows played at this level was in the 2017 season.
The World Cup matches with the participation of our national team will be held in Sfintu Gheorghe, Romania, from April 27 to May 3, 2025.
