Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Mikhail Degtiarev and President of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) Alexey Morozov made a symbolic throw-in before the start of the regular season match of the FONBET KHL Championship between Dynamo Moscow and CSKA and kicked off the fifth season of the All-Russian sports project competition “You are in the game “.
“You are in the game” is an all-Russian competition of projects in the field of amateur sports, organized according to the national projects of Russia with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.
— Today we open the fifth season of this competition, in which the KHL actively participates. Many projects are emerging in the country aimed at developing hockey, physical education and health. One of these projects, the development of sledge hockey for children, became a winner [в прошедшем сезоне]. I wish the participants success, gaining new experiences and knowledge while working with mentors who will work with them. In June we will know the winners of the project,” reports correspondent Morozov.
For four years, more than 16,000 projects from all over Russia took part in the competition. On the occasion of its fifth anniversary season, “You’re in the Game” pushes its limits and will allow even more participants to show the best of themselves.
The match between Dynamo Moscow and CSKA will take place on Thursday at the VTB Arena.
