Long Island Sharks junior player Connor Kasin collapsed during a break between periods. The match was dedicated to the memory of his classmate, who died in a car accident last year.
It is noteworthy that while waiting for doctors, spectators rushed onto the ice and performed artificial respiration on the athlete. The hockey player was taken to hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
