The wife of Russian Washington forward Alexander Ovechkin, Anastasia Shubskaya, reacted on social networks to her husband’s return to the ice after an injury.
On November 22, it was learned that Ovechkin, 39, would be out for four to six weeks due to a fractured left fibula. The hockey player was injured during the NHL regular season match against Utah (6:2). On Monday, video surfaced online of the Capitals captain taking the ice for the first time since his injury during an individual workout.
“Two weeks after the fracture,” Shubskaya wrote on social networks.
