Magnitogorsk”Metallurgist “beat Yekaterinburg”Motorist in the match of the pre-season tournament Cup of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in hockey.
The meeting took place in Nur-Sultan and ended with the score 2:1 in favor of Magnitogorsk. Among the winners, the goals were scored by Philippe Maillet and Semyon Koshelev. Vasily Filyaev scored for Avtomobilist in the second half.
This victory was the second for Metallurg in the tournament, the team had previously beaten Neftekhimik (4:1).
The Cup of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is held annually in summer in Nur-Sultan. This year the tournament will last from August 16 to 19, among the participants are Metallurg, Avtomobilist, Neftekhimik and local Barys.
