Three-time Stanley Cup winner Sergei Brylin has become the assistant coach of the New Jersey Devils.

Former strikerNew Jersey Devils » Sergei Brylin named the club’s assistant head coach Lindy Ruff, according to the club’s NHL website.

Since the 2012/13 season, the 48-year-old Russian specialist has served as an assistant coach and junior coach at the American Hockey League (AHL) Devils farm clubs in Albany, Binghamton and Utica.

Brylin is a three-time Stanley Cup winner and played for New Jersey from 1994 to 2008. In total for the Devils, Brylin played in 765 regular season games, in which he scored 308 points (129 goals + 179 assists ).
