Shaporev graduated from Omsk Avangard. In the KHL, he played for the Chinese club Kunlun Red Star and Vityaz near Moscow, and the striker also defended the colors of Tambov and Ryazan. Last season, Shaporev played for Beybarys in the Kazakhstan Championship, where he became the tournament’s top marksman with 37 goals.
The new KHL season begins on September 1.
