Athletistic / Hockey KHL Vice President Valery Kamensky believes that Sergei Brylina, who has already been named an assistant in New Jersey, has a good chance of leading the NHL club in the future.

“Brylin has the potential to be the head coach of the NHL because he’s been in this organization for a long time, he’s played a lot and won three Stanley Cups, he’s also worked in farm clubs. Sergey is a capable guy with prospects,” RBC-Sport quotes Kamensky.

Recall that when he was a hockey player, Sergei Brylin played for the Devils from 1994 to 2008, for which he won the Stanley Cup three times. For the past nine years he has served as an assistant and coach at New Jersey Farm Clubs.
