Athletistic/Hockey. Slovak defender of the Russian club “Siberia” Michal Chaikovsky told how he reacted in his native country to the fact that after the offseason he decided not to move to another team, but to return to Russia.

“I immediately told the guys and the coaching staff that I would come 100%. The reaction in Slovakia to my decision to go to Russia was different. Someone reacted badly, someone positively But I’m such a person that for me the main thing is what my family wants and what I want. And we really love Novosibirsk,” Tchaikovsky said.

When asked if he would be banned from playing for the Slovak national team, the hockey player replied: “I haven’t heard of such a thing.”

Michal Chaikovsky has been playing for Sibir since 2021. During the KHL regular season last season, Tchaikovsky played 40 games, scoring 3 goals and 9 assists. During the Gagarin Cup playoffs, Michal scored 5 games in which he scored a goal and provided 3 assists.
