Defender “New York Islanders” Sebastien Aho was arrested in his home country of Sweden for drunk driving. The hockey player’s driver’s license has been suspended, according to The Post.
We were immediately informed of the situation with Sebastian Aho. We have a copy of the police report. Sebastian apologizes for his mistake and as an organization we will work with him to make sure it doesn’t happen again,” Islanders general manager Lou Lamorello said.
Aho had previously signed with the Islanders for two years for an average annual salary of $825,000.
