Bobkin’s wards will play the next match with Italy on August 26
National team of Ukraine U-18 lost to peers Hungary in the first match of the international tournament Olympic Hopes Tournament in Budapest – 1:2.
The Ukrainians were the first to concede in the second period, but managed to level the score at the very beginning of the third. The equal score was held until the last minute, but the team of Alexander Bobkin could not survive. The Ukrainians earned a removal at the very end and missed the decisive goal in the last minute of the match.
The Ukrainian national team is holding a training camp in Budapest in preparation for the 2023 World Championship in Division IA. Bobkin’s team previously held a friendly match with Hungary U-17 (4:2), and will play three matches in the Olympic Hopes tournament.
In the next match, Ukraine will face Italy U-18 on August 26. The next day, Bobkin’s wards will play with the youth team of Poland.
