Severstal scored four goals against Avangard and held on to the win

Severstal won against “Avant-garde” (4:2) at the Puchkov pre-season tournament in St. Petersburg.

Hockey players of the Cherepovets team scored four unanswered goals in the first period – the authors of accurate shots were David Dumbadze, Daniil Vovchenko, Semyon Lugovyak and Igor Geraskin.

In the second twenty-minute period, Avangard managed to recover two goals through Nail Yakupov and Ivan Telegin, who both scored on the power play. This score remained until the end of the match.

Severstal came second in the tournament table with 4 points, behind only SKA (6), Avangard still had 2 points.

On Saturday, as part of the tournament, Severstal will meet Sibir, SKA and Avangard will face each other.
