In the new season, the team will be led by the famous Kiev goalkeeper Konstantin Simchuk.

Kyiv Sokol began preparations for the new championship with a change of coaching staff. As soon as FHU opened a bid company, as in the capital club, they announced a change of mentor.

In the new season, the champions of Ukraine in hockey will be led by 48-year-old Konstantin Simchuk, who for the past two seasons has been Oleg Shafarenko’s assistant. This was reported by the press service of the team.

Recall that Simchuk was a student of Sokol, and played as a goalkeeper. As a goalkeeper, he played for his native team in 1992-1997, 2001, 2009-2013, playing 167 official matches for Sokol. Simchuk was the player of the year in Ukraine following the results of the 2004/2005 season. Now he is also an assistant of Vadim Shakhraychuk in the national team of Ukraine.

Simchuk will be assisted by two other former players of the capital club, 39-year-old Artem Bondarev and 50-year-old Andrei Savchenko.
