HC Sokol announced his participation in the new season of the Ukrainian Ice Hockey Championship.

The head coach of the team was Konstantin Simchuk, who is a pupil of Sokol and previously worked as an assistant to the ex-coach of Kiev Oleg Shafarenko. Artem Bondarev and Andrey Savchenko became his assistants. All three previously played for Sokol.
Earlier, the Ice Hockey Federation of Ukraine announced that it had reached an oral agreement with six clubs to participate in the new draw of the Ukrainian championship. The FHU has already announced the start of the bidding campaign for the new season.
Last season in the championship of Ukraine was completed ahead of schedule due to a full-scale Russian invasion. Sokol, who was the leader in the standings at the time of the suspension of the competition, was recognized as the champion of the national championship.
