Athletistic / Hockey “Avtomobilist” from Yekaterinburg has signed contracts with four well-known legionnaires, the club’s telegram channel reports.

The report says deals for goalie Juha Metsola, defender Jyrki Jokipakka, as well as forwards Miro Aaltonen and Curtis Valk have been registered at the KHL Central Information Office.

Juha Metsola has been defending the colors of Salavat Yulaev for the past four years, but in March this year, along with other legionnaires from the Ufa club, left the team after hostilities broke out in Ukraine.

Jyrki Jokipakka has been performing in Russia since 2017. During that time, he managed to play for Sochi and Novosibirsk in Siberia.

Miro Aaltonen scored 42 (10+32) points in 44 regular season games last season and was one of the top scorers in the KHL.

Curtis Valk has been playing for the Barys of Kazakhstan since 2018 and also stood out for his high performance in the last regular season: 41 (12+29) points in 47 matches.
