Athletistic/Hockey. Omsk Avangard forward Pavel Dedunov commented on the team’s unsuccessful start to the KHL regular season.
“Although we are not quite playing our hockey, we are not lucky somewhere, but it will not be easier further. Luck does not come with losses, only with victories. You have to win once, then confidence will return to the leaders, to support a friend, to collapse in no case,” Dedunov said.
On September 13, Avangard lost to Barys 2-3 in a shootout, earning the first point of the season. Previously, the Omsk club lost against Vityaz (2:3), Dynamo Minsk (3:6), SKA (1:3) and Avtomobilist (1:4). With one run in five innings, “Vanguard” sits second to last – tenth – in the KHL Eastern Conference standings.
