Hockey “Colorado” McKinnon signed an eight-year contract for $100.8 million

According to the media, the contract was concluded for the amount of 100.8 million dollars, thus, under the new agreement, the average annual salary of a 27-year-old hockey player will be 12.6 million dollars.

The new contract will come into effect in the 2023/24 season. Under the old contract, McKinnon receives $6.3 million a year.

McKinnon won the Stanley Cup last season with Colorado, scoring 24 points (13 goals + 11 assists) in 20 playoff games.

In the NHL regular season, the forward has 88 points (32 + 56) in 65 games.

In total, McKinnon played in 708 NHL games and scored 741 points (283+458).
