Athletistic/Hockey. Russian striker Nikita Soshnikov has decided on his future.

The striker signed a one-year contract with the New York Islanders, Dan Milstein, a well-known agent, said on social media.

Terms of the deal with the 28-year-old striker have not been disclosed.

Team deals have also been signed by goalkeeper Corey Schneider and defender Parker Wotherspoon.

Prior to that, Soshnikov played in the NHL for the Toronto and St. Louis Blues.

Recall that in the 2021/22 season the Stanley Cup was won by Colorado, which turned out to be stronger than Tampa in the final series.
