Boxer Lee Reeves was rushed to hospital after being knocked out in the 10th and final round of his fight against Gary Cully at the 3Arena in Dublin on Saturday night.
Reeves, 31, was stopped by a left hand from Cully and remained on the canvas for several moments as officials and medical staff attended to him. He was given oxygen before being carried out on a stretcher.
Queensberry promoter Frank Warren said on X that everyone at the company was thinking of Reeves and that they were in constant contact with his team regarding his condition.
Cully claimed the BUI Celtic super-lightweight title with the victory but said his thoughts were with his opponent. He said Reeves had shown he could operate at a higher level despite coming in as a big underdog.
