Double Olympic champion in men’s singles Yuzuru Hanyu announced the creation of its own ice show.
— I wanted to create an on-ice show that would allow people to experience the very life of skating and my story.
My show is called “Prologue”, I will do it alone. I hope it will become a prologue to the story that I want to pass on to you”, wrote the Japanese on social networks.
The 27-year-old won Olympic gold medals in 2014 and 2018, and also won World Championship gold twice (2014,2017). At the 2022 Olympics in Beijing, the Japanese took fourth place.
In July, Hanyu announced that he was ending his amateur career and turning professional.
