Athletistic/ Others. On Thursday, September 29, Russian chess player Yekaterina Lahno celebrated her victory at the first stage of the FIDE Grand Prix, which took place in Astana these days.
In the final round of the competition in Kazakhstan, Lahno drew with another Russian representative, Alexandra Kosteniuk, who finished fourth.
Note that the second place of the tournament was taken by the Russian Alexandra Goryachkina. The next stages of the Grand Prix series will take place in India, Poland and Germany.
